Agent Orange, Draegerman, Law Biting Citizens, The Peckerheads
@123 Pleasant St.
Ah, nothing like a late night bar show with a 9:30 Chem lab the next morning. First off, OS101 was supposed to be here also but unfortunately broke up 2 nights before the show. Oh well, shit happens I guess. Well The Peckerheads opened up, and played a good set as usual. Evan made fun of me, puckeater was MIA, and no one got hurt. Still a good set though. It's good to see that they got their microphones working again, and anyone at the WVU Snowboard Club benefit show knows what I'm talking about. Oh and some dude in the crowd was from Philadelphia, so the 'Flyers Suck!!' part in "Slapshot" was beautiful. LBC played next, and once again, played a short set because of Jordan's knee. (Get well soon, by the way) Still a good set, and LBC proved (at least to me anyways) that they can play 6 songs and still sound a lot better than some bands that play 20+ songs (*cough cough* Dirtstar *cough cough*). Draegerman was next up, and they still sound great. I only wish they would play more often, as I'm sure other people do. I guess they've all got families and shit now, as theyre in their late 20s, early 30s. Oh well. And last but definitely not least was the infamous Agent Orange. They've influenced us all. Hell, they've influenced some of the bands that influenced me. They came out and kicked some ass, I must say. Mixed up some new stuff with the old classics, including their cover of "Secret Agent Man", and a personal fave, "I Kill Spies". Except for some people in the crowd with 1 or 2 or 8 too many drinks, the set was absolutely awesome. Definitely worth all ten dollars and no cents.
