CRANES SON APPROVES OF CROWE-GANS HEROES
CRANES SON APPROVES OF CROWE-GANS HEROES
SEATTLE (Wireless Flash) Russell Crowes plans to take Hogans Heroes to the big screen has at least one fan happy: The son of show's star Bob Crane. Scotty Crane thinks Crowe would make a great Colonel Robert Hogan but also thinks Alec Baldwin should be considered and maybe John Goodman as either Sgt. Schultz or Col. Klink. But Hogans Heroes isnt the only Bob Crane-related film in the works. Greg Kinnear is considering playing Crane in Auto- Focus, a movie about the actors 1978 murder. Scotty isnt pleased and claims the script is so poorly written hes surprised it wasnt offered to Jim Belushi first. However, he may be biased because hes trying to sell his own Crane bio-pic, Take Off Your Clothes And Smile, which he co-wrote with his mother, Hogans Heroes cast member Sigrid Valdis.
