CANADIAN MAN BECOMES `SURVIVOR' SOUL SINGER

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan (Wireless Flash) -- The "Survivor" show is getting a musical tribute thanks to a 20-year-old Canadian folk singer. Nathan Heagy from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is writing a series of Survivor soul songs dedicated to the show's castaways. The first tune is a folk ballad called "Gervase, My Man" and includes lyrics like, "Gervase, my man/ I'm so very mad they voted you off/ Gervase, my man/ You're cool like I hope I would be/ If I was on Survivor." Heagy is also writing songs about Colleen, Rudy and Richard and plans to take didgeridoo lessons so he can write songs about the Outback version of "Survivor" which will debut next January.
