Swedish Shrimp Shell Soda Reduces Wrinkles
PARIS, Ark. (Wireless Flash) It sounds fishy but the makers of a new energy drink from Sweden claim it may be able to reduce wrinkles. The beverage, which is being sold in the U.S. as Sankt Olav is made from ground-up shrimp shells and contains many of the nutritional compounds found in sardines and caviar, which have been proven to repair skin tissue. The drinks U.S. spokesman, Richard Davis, claims folks who drink 12 ounces of the sardine soda a day for three months notice improvement in their skin. He admits the drink has a fishy taste, but he doesnt think it will affect sales since, in his words, nobody drinks energy drinks for the taste. Sankt Olav is hitting stores in the next few weeks and a 12-ounce bottle will sell for around $2.50.
