Cast of ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ Given a Bad Rap?

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – The cast of Diff’rent Strokes has seen some hard times since the show went off the air, but one former cast member says his co-stars have been given a bad rap. And now, Shavar Ross, who played Arnold Jackson’s best friend Dudley, has published an audio-book in hopes of spreading some “good gossip” about the cast. Ross says his tell-all expose, On the Set of Diff’rent Strokes (Tri-Seven Entertainment) tells only good stuff, like how Dana Plato was a great swimmer and the time he and Gary Coleman went to Santa Monica and rode bumper cars. One thing Shavar ISN’T happy about is Gary Coleman’s career choice. He says he was shocked to learn Coleman was a rent-a-cop and hopes the pint-sized actor will wise up and get another TV show.
