HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash) – Adolf Hitler was a nasty guy, but did you know he wanted to kill the Three Stooges? It’s true, according to Stooges historian, Jeff Forrester, who says Hitler put out a death warrant for Stooges Larry Fine, Moe Howard and Curly Howard after the eye-poking trio lampooned the Nazi leader in films like You Nazty Spy, I’ll Never Heil Again, and Boobs in Arms. Moe usually played Hitler, Larry stuck it to Stalin and Curly tried his hand at Mussolini. Hitler, however, didn’t think their yuck-yuck-yucks were too funny and put the three Jewish actors on his “to kill” list, but lost the war before he could come to Hollywood to fulfill his fiendish deed. The information was kept secret until recently when one of the Stooges writers told Forrester who is now telling the world.
