SEANCE TO BE HELD FOR HOUDINI 75 YEARS AFTER DEATH

HOLYOKE, Mass. (Wireless Flash) – A faithful group of Harry Houdini followers will attempt to contact the escape artist on the 75th anniversary of his death this Halloween. Before Houdini died, the magician requested that his wife try to contact his spirit with an annual seance. However, after 10 years of failure, she finally gave up. Taking her place is Massachusetts-based magician Sidney Radnar, who will hold a seance in Detroit this Halloween. The 82-year-old Radnar has been trying to contact Houdini for 50 years without any luck, but he’s still optimistic he’ll get a sign from the dead illusionist. Radnar says one trick Houdini promised to perform from beyond the grave was to unlock a pair of his own handcuffs. However, Radnar says, “I’ll be happy if they just move on the table.”
