ROB THOMAS’ OLD BAND COMES BACK TO HAUNT HIM

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – A secret from Matchbox 20’s past is about to haunt lead singer Rob Thomas – Tabitha’s Secret to be correct. Tabitha’s Secret was Thomas’ band until 1995 when he split off with two members to form Matchbox 20. Now, unreleased home recordings of Tabitha’s Secret’s tunes – including an early version of the Matchbox 20 hit “3 A.M.” – will be hitting the stores October 9. Thomas has since “walked away” from the recordings – which were mostly taped in a home studio, but Tabitha’s Secret guitarist Jay Stanley says he has remixed them so they will sound as good as anything done by Matchbox 20. The first single “And Around” is currently being shipped to radio stations.
