GIANT BRIEFS TO HANG ON BROADWAY

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Look up in the sky. It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a giant pair of undies? That’s what passers-by will see in New York City next Tuesday to announce the release of a new children’s book called Captain Underwear and the Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman (Scholastic). The giant 9-foot-tall pair of briefs will hang from the building of the book’s publisher, Scholastic. The series tells the story of two fourth graders who hypnotize their principal into thinking he’s an underwear-clad crusader named “Captain Underwear.” A spokeswoman claims the underwear series is second only to Harry Potter in popularity with kids.
