‘ATLANTIS’ COULD SINK ‘SHREK’ IN ‘HAPPY MEAL’ WAR

BIDDEFORD, Maine (Wireless Flash) – Atlantis has a long way to go to overtake Shrek’s lead at the box office – but the film may win the all-important “Happy Meal War.” That’s the prediction of Robert Gobeil, who collects and sells those freebie toys found in McDonalds and Burger King kiddie meals. Although Shrek is closing in on $200 million at the box office, Gobeil says there hasn’t been much demand for Burger King’s Shrek toys as for McDonalds’ Atlantis toys. However, he says that may be because there are more McDonalds’ locations and the company advertises freebies more than Burger King.
