MAN VOWS TO TAKE ‘DUBYA’ BACK FOR TEXAS

DENTON, Texas (Wireless Flash) – Everything’s big in Texas, including the temper of one man who’s sick of folks calling George W. Bush “Dubya.” Texan Steven Parks is madder than a rattlesnake in a tumbleweed that the media and others are using the Texas pronunciation of the letter “W” to refer to Bush. He claims Texans never referred to Bush as “Dubya” when he was governor of the state and he resents the president’s opponents using the nickname as an insult. To remedy the situation, Parks is launching a web-based campaign to turn “Dubya” into a compliment. He’s set up a site, dubyastuff.com, that sells pro-Texas T-shirts like Dubya Is From Texas...He Did NOT Get Had By No CHAD and Me And Dubya Are Texans.
