They say many folks who know their table manners have no clue what to say if a gang banger asks, “Where you from, cuz?” The correct answer is “Nowhere.” That way the gang member knows you are “not affiliated” with any gang. Other offbeat etiquette.... Never ignore a homeless person. It’s more polite to say point blank: “I’m not giving you any money.” It’s the height of rudeness to flirt with someone in a porn shop. Finally, if you ever attend the set of an adult film, be warned: It’s bad form to touch yourself.
