FISHERMAN WHO SAVED ELIAN GONZALES SPEAKS OUT ON ‘CREEPY’ CRACKS

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Wireless Flash) – How’d you like to be called a “Creepy Fisherman” by Jay Leno? That’s how Jay described Donato Dalrymple, the man who pulled Elian Gonzalez out of the ocean two years ago. Donato says those “creepy” cracks didn’t bother him a bit and he figures that if the “liberal media” can trash the president, “...they can trash me.” He says friends kept him apprised of the “creepy fisherman” jokes and they supported him by saying, “Hey, I know you. They got the wrong guy.” These days, Donato is fishing for souls – and not the kind you fillet. He claims saving Elian brought him closer to God and he’s now “a fisher of men” converting people to Christianity.
